That’s why our leadership team regularly joins our Community Health Navigators (CHNs) for ride-alongs, stepping out of the office and into the neighborhoods we serve. These ride-alongs are more than just field visits—they are a fundamental part of our culture, shaping how we approach patient-centered care, operational efficiency, and team collaboration.
Strengthening Our Mission Through Experience
Our CHNs are at the heart of MedZed’s mission. They work tirelessly to connect members with healthcare services, address social determinants of health, and provide support where it’s needed most. When our executives join them in the field, they witness these efforts in action, allowing them to better understand the challenges our members face and the dedication of our care teams.

For Alex Schmidt, MedZed’s Chief Financial Officer, the ride-along experience is invaluable:
